At a time when many of us are being forced to resolve to do more with less in regards to staffing and budgets, it is realistic to apply those efforts to our wellness initiatives as well. In fact, a wellness program can stand as a great benefit when other employee benefits may be diminishing. Stephanie will share a long list of ideas and resources, many that the Commonwealth uses in its own Journey to Wellness program.
About the speaker:
Stephanie Marshall, MBA, MS, is currently State Wellness Director for the Commonwealth of Kentucky state agency employees, which includes 33,000 people across the state. She has more than 10 years of experience in community and corporate wellness and the fitness industry.
Marshall has a master's in business administration from Thomas More College; a master's in exercise physiology and health promotion from the University of Kentucky; and a bachelor's in fitness and wellness management and minor in nutrition from Eastern Kentucky University.
She is a Kentucky native who considers it her passion to empower Kentuckians to live healthier lifestyles.
