Proactively seek opportunities to become embedded in a significant project or task force, build social capital, network and provide value added to the task.

Be ready to step in when asked. Be able to quickly assess the critical success factors required of the strategic issue at hand and translate them back and forth from HR metrics to firm strategic metrics.
