Job Title Learning & Development Administrator
Job Description

Summary:  Responsible for establishing, building and leading a Learning and Development function in North America, to include curriculum design, course selection and development, delivery selection, course and learning assessment and Learning and Development documentation.

Responsibilities

 

§         Consistently seek out ways to improve the content, delivery, efficiency and effectiveness of all training and development activities.

 

§         Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs, and recommend changes as needed.

 

§         Establish and manage a Learning Resources Centre.

 

 

Qualifying Standards

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in as a Learning and Development professional.  Clinical or research industry is preferred. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, technical writing, presentation and problem-solving skills.  Requisite technical skills include, but are not limited to, proficiency with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Outlook, Visio, and knowledge of various LMS and E-Learning software development tools and resources.

§         Conducts integrated training needs assessments and utilizes this information to document a yearly training plan.

§         Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in a specified field.

 

§         Communicate expectations and initiatives of the Learning and Development function to the Management Team and ensure proper implementation, consistency, quality and accuracy of the delivery and materials.

 

§          In collaboration with the Management, establish professional learning curricula in the areas of Site Management, Site Monitoring, Data Management, Biometrics, and Project Management as well as related areas across the landscape of the Company. 

§         Develop “Train the Trainer” programs and coach others involved in training efforts, providing growth and development opportunities

 

§         Manage the development and currency of Training material. 

 

§         Assure that all Training Records and required documentation are properly maintained and secured, including working with MAPI Institute to establish and maintain of a skills & competency database.

 

§         Coordinate and assure the effectiveness of New Employee Orientation Training.

 

§         Coordinate and assure the effectiveness of Soft Skill Training.

 

§         Track, analyze, evaluate and review Company training to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
