Our client is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager for their dynamic organization in Lexington to provide general human resources support to the organization including, but not limited to: recruitment and hiring, payroll, performance management and disciplinary procedures, employee benefits, compliance, staff development/ training, and information technology assistance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources, or related field plus three years of related experience including knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations,  public sector employment policies and procedures, equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements as related to public sector human resources procedures, strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.   In addition selected applicants should have the ability to prepare and present training programs and materials, make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues, have experience in compensation administration principles and procedures, FMLA and catastrophic leave policies, procedures, and practices, ADA, FLSA, and other employment legislation and regulations, and staff employee benefits laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and documentation.   Candidates should also posses the following personal characteristics: honesty, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.  Client offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
